Why can't I run applications of C++ in Netbeans when I have the make, gnu,g++, gdb? Please Help!? - what are gnu make new on poptropica

I have given all of them and their paths in the options panel NetBeans, says I need a Fortran compiler. Likewise, if I create a project, I get an error message. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what do you do?
