Pellet Heaters For Heating My Downstairs Area Is It Cheaper To Run A Pellet Stove Or 2 Small Electric 10 Watt Heaters?
For heating my downstairs area is it cheaper to run a pellet stove or 2 small electric 10 watt heaters? - pellet heaters
I live in Massachusetts and my house has electric heating with thermostat in each room. Far too expensive for use as power status. I do not know if I will use less electricity through the use of pellet or electric heaters. A 40 kg bag pellets costs $ 6 and lasts about 24 hours. Since is connected, use the oven very little electricity, but have no idea how. If someone out there knowledgeable in this subject, I would be happy to continue.

I suspect that it is not a 10-watt electric heater, but 10 amps. If this is correct, then one of the heaters 10 amps draw 1200 watts or 1.2 kilowatts. The company measures the power consumption by the amount of kilowatts used per hour. If your furnace has an hour approxamately costs 12 cents.
His wood stove costs $ 6 per day, or 25 cents per hour. The electric heaters will cost 24 cents per hour (assuming they are) actually 1200 watt heaters. This ignores that the BTU is a measure of how hot the lights really begins. Wood stoves tend to attract a lot more BTU electric heaters.
